We’re kicking off a week of WWKIP in Kingston Springs this Saturday!

World Wide Knit in Public Week begins this weekend!  Join us on Saturday, June 9 for our local ‘Knit in Public’ celebration in Kingston Springs ~ we’re starting with dutch-treat breakfast at Red Tree Coffee about 8:30 am; then strolling down the block to the shop and knitting all day (well, until about 4 pm). You might want to bring a camp chair … you can knit on the porch, in the shop, in the yard, walk over to the park and knit by the pond or by the river.  We’re providing simple sandwich fixings, sweets and drinks for lunch.  Feel free to bring a dish (& your recipe!) to share.

But wait, there’s more … we’ll be drawing for door prizes & conducting surprise sales throughout the day (and yes, you have to be present to win, so just pack up your bag and spend the day)!  Please share this post with your friends, the more the merrier (and ‘like’ us on Facebook for our most current info ~ such as, we are also open this Sunday from noon until 4, just in case you’re done with the CMA Festival and/or on your way home from Bonnaroo!)
